How to delete your account in the app
The fastest way to delete your account and all associated data is directly from the app:
- Open Berry Budget on your device
- Tap the Settings tab
- Scroll to the Account section
- Tap Delete account and confirm
Note: If you own a shared household, delete the household first (Settings → Delete household) to also remove the shared financial data before deleting your account.
What gets deleted
- Your sign-in account and credentials
- Your financial data (income/expense entries, balance, projection settings) for any household you own
- Your household membership record
What may be retained
- Shared household financial data, if other members still belong to that household — this is shared data, not personal data
- Internal audit fields (opaque account IDs, no names or emails) embedded in shared documents
Retention period
Account data is deleted immediately upon request. There is no additional retention period.
Can't access the app?
Email imnotstudios@gmail.com with the subject Account Deletion Request — Berry Budget and include the Google account email you used to sign in. We'll process your request within 7 days.
